Mr. Norman Gallen died Friday evening, February 22, 2008 at his home in Sunrise, Florida following a long illness. He was 79.
Born April 15, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, he grew up and lived many years there before moving to Florida in 1980.
He was the third generation owner and proprietor of the family business, the "Twin Shop" on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.
He enjoyed the second part of his life by playing golf, traveling the world, and building a legacy for his family with the love of his life Sylvia. Norman was a humble man who cared for all of those around him. He believed in the American Way and shared his life experiences with all that would listen.
Surviving are his wife Sylvia Gallen; a son, Ira Gallen; a daughter Rona Kling and her husband Steven Kling; two grandsons, Jason Gallen and Craig Gallen and his wife Carolyn Gallen; and two great-grandchildren, Christian and Charlotte Gallen.
