Dear Sherri and Helene,
My deepest sympathies on the death of your mother. I was her computer teacher several years ago. Marcia's active spirit and eagerness to learn impressed me. She was always kind and hospitable to me whenever I entered her home. May God grant you courage and comfort.

Dearest Marcia: I cannot believe you are gone. We just had dinner together in January. And what a beautiful and delicious three course meal you made for me. We had such fun catching up and talking politics. I will always remember our food shopping trips especially the time you were testing cantalopes and grabbed a nice lady's behind by mistake. Oh how we laughed and the lady was okay with it too! Who would have thought that a project I wanted to do for the fifth graders at Knollwood for community service would have turned into our friendship. You inspire me and always will. You always, always made me laugh. As I sat at your service on Sunday, I laughed at some of the stories and cried when your grandchildren said goodbye. You touched so many people during your life and we will all carry your spirit with us forever. God bless you always, Marcia. I will miss you.

I knew Marsha for many years through the Athletics for Blind Leisure Enthusiasts (ABLE) program. She will always be a role model for me. Her enthusiasm and zest for life were enspiring. I admired her desire to grow, learn, and try new things.

Such terribly sad news for me on my phone machine over the weekend. I had the privilege of working with Marcia for several years in her efforts to be the best President of the Board of the NJ Foundation for the Blind. She was always willing to learn and to change in order to do what was right - and I will miss our phone chats immensely.

I was in the Morristown Toastmasters with Marica. She was a truly inspirational individual. She had such a wonderful outlook on life that she shared with us in her speeches. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. You can take comfort in the knowledge that Marcia touched many lives through Toastmasters and will be fondly remembered for years to come.

I was very sorry to hear of Marcia's passing today. She was a unique individual, a description with which I think Marcia would agree and then, of course, laugh about. I worked with Marcia in her home over the course of a couple of years computer instructor. I truly enjoyed Marcia's company and was always surprised by how humble she was; Marcia was such a capable and inspirational person. I know that she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Again, I am sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
David Feinhals

To the family of Marcia Goldberg: I only had occassion to know Marcia for a short time, but her reputation preceded her. She was known by all as a powerhouse, who when she set her mind to a task, she got it done. As president of the Board of Directors she was actively involved in all aspects of Diamond Spring Lodge. I remember how much she enjoyed participating in Holidays at the Lodge and I know she was sorry not to be able to participate this last season. I could clearly see from my short visits with her that she had a gusto for life and she lived her life fully. My hope it that you will remember her as I do: A woman that lived her life to the fullest.

Marcia was one of the most courageous, generous, and giving women that I have ever met. She was an inspiration to me and a wonderful friend. She shared her gift of speechmaking often at Family Service, talking about the agency and helping to raise the funds for the agency's new building on Elm Street. Marcia will be sorely missed by all of us who knew her and called her friend.
Rest in peace, Marcia.
