Obituary of FRANCES TORRE

Mrs. Frances Torre (nee Giacone) died peacefully Monday morning, March 3, 2008 at her home in Montville. She was 83. Born in Newark, she had lived many years in Belleville before moving to Montville Township five years ago. A homemaker, she was also an election poll worker in Montville. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Torre; a son, Alex Torre; her siblings Sammy Giacone and Mildred Jaconetta; and a grandson, James Joseph Cleffi. Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Cleffi and her husband James of Montville and Dora Gail Spicer and her husband Glenn of Newton; a son, Robert Torre of Belleville; four sisters, Josephine Esposito of New York, Mary Caruso of Nutley, Julia Puzo of Summit, and Rose Cavigiliano of Edison; two brothers, James Giacone of Pequannock and Anthony Giacone of Florida; six grandchildren, Vincent Cleffi, Jason Cleffi and his wife Lisa Ann, and Ashley, Desirre, Serinna and Gavin Spicer; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Dominic Cleffi.
