Preeti Lohani (nee Khanchandani) died peacefully Friday morning, May 30, 2008 at her home in Montville Township. She was 49.
Born in Varanasi, India she immigrated to the United States in 1985 settling in Rego Park, NY. She had lived the last eight years in Montville.
Mrs. Lohani was a co-owner with her husband of P.H. Jewelers in New York, NY for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Hiralal L. Lohani; two sons, Lakhmichand Lohani of New York, NY and Dinesh Lohani of Washington DC; three brothers and three sisters all in India.
