Denise was a dear friend to me and will be missed greatly. We had many a good time together."Beer Bash at the Club" I was shocked to hear of her death and sickened to hear how. A very sad ending to a short sad life. Denise I love you honey and wish I could have helped. You will always be in my heart. I know you and Brain and Art are together having a beer. Rest in Peace, honey. I am sorry

I don't even know where to begin. First, my heart goes out to Bobby and the rest of the family. I was friends with Denise in our younger years and through our teens, so to you, her friends of today -- my heart breaks for you.
So many memories, so long ago, yet it feels like yesterday. Sitting next to each other through school (she was an A I was a B) - watching her take tests and taking notes with that left hand and her tonge sticking out of the side of her mouth -- classic! Walking to and from grammer school twice a day -- we got to go home for lunch. I don't think I could walk that hill today! Playing basketball in school and having a cig in the woods after practice and a game -- if only the coaches knew. Pretty much living at her house after school everyday and busting, not only on Bobby, but also on Betty (she was the first mom I could call by her first name) -- yes, much fun and laughter was had with "Munther" being her maiden name.
Playing Pin Ball at the Economy every day in the summer and hanging out at the Stanhope basket ball Courts where she met her first boyfriend. Going to Kenvil roller skating rink -- when skates had four wheels and not blades.
Than there was highschool -- taking Denise to the "Barbazon School of Hair" or whatever it was in Sucasunna to be the first person EVER to get a piece of her hair dyed pink. Yes, she was the FIRST, everyone after that, including the 80's hair bands copied her! Hanging out at Charlotte's Web Bar until she finished work - we'd bust Betty's chops - Betty, please, pick up -- she was a waitress there and that's a line we got from Lavern and Shirley and we (in tandum) would say that to her constantly. We'd always tell Betty we'd be home early --yeah, ok :-). And then there was Seaside Heights. Driving down with "the Beav", him in his Rally Sport and me in my Chevell - stuck in traffic, she ran from car to car. The boardwalk--fun - fun - fun!!
I saw Denise's picture in the paper recently for one of those "question on the street" things -- she looked totally the same as when I knew her. I would find myself driving through Morristown, hoping to see her walking somewhere so that I could stop and say hi and catch up.
So many memories, such a huge part of my life and so-so many laughs. I've missed you for the past 20 years and now I'll miss you for the rest of my life. Please rest easy my freind -- my dear, dear friend, knowing how loved have been and will always be.
If there is going to be a scattering of her ashes, please let me know through this website -- if it's to be private, I completely understand.
Again, to family and freinds -- I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

I will remember Denise for so many things... her love for life and fun...her support in times of trouble...her ability to relate to children and animals. She was joyful and carefree and the world is a little less fun without her....Until we meet again... so long my friend

Although I have not seen Denise in a long time, she was a great friend of mine many years ago growing up. While always supportive of her mother as a teen Denise was known to throw an occasional party(weekly) for 100 of her closest friends while her mom was working at Charlottes Den in Dover, always promising to never "do it again". Many times I spent cleaning up afterwards. Several trips we took to NYC, Atlantic City and Seaside Heights together. Always so full of life and energy. I can see her smile now in my mind. No one could tell a story better than Denise. I will surely miss her. My deepest condolences to Bobby and the family.
