Obituary of JUAN JOSE MARTINEZ

Mr. Juan Jose Martinez died Friday evening, September 19, 2008, at Morristown Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was 99. Born in Matanza, Cuba, he immigrated to the United States in 1975 settling in Union City. He had also lived in West New YOrk before coming to Morris Township five years ago. Mr. Martinez had worked as an accountant in Cuba many years before coming to the United States. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria (nee Cuervo) Maritnez in 2006. Survivors include two sons, Orlando of Jersey City and Eduardo of Parsippany; a daughter, Gladys D'Amico of Stanope; five grandchidlren and three great-grandchildren.
