Obituary of AILEEN R. PASTER

Mrs. Aileen Rita Paster (nee Gerstein) died Thursday evening, October 2, 2008 at Newark Beth Israel Hospice in Newark following a long illness. She was 70. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, she had moved to the Pine Brook section of Montville Township in 1970. Mrs. Paster earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in education from the City College of New York in 1958 and and 1960 respectively. She had worked as a paralegal with the law firm of Simon, Sarver, Swettson, and Jacks in Fairfield for 25 years before becoming ill. Previously, she had been a school teacher in Bronx, NY. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and sister-in-law, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jordan Paster; a son, Mitchell Paster of New York; a daughter, Michelle Paster of Lake Hiawatha; and a brother Albert Gerstein and his wife Kathy of New York.
