Obituary of ROSELLA G. BREINAN

Mrs. Rosella G. Breinan (nee Glicksman) died Tuesday evening, October 14, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's in Dover. She was 95.
Born in Bronx, NY, she had lived in Yonkers, NY, and in the Panther Valley section of Hackettstown for 20 years before moving to Montville Township 9 years ago.
Mrs. Breinan earned her Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in biology from Hunter College in New York.
She had worked as an earth sciences teacher with the DeWitt-Clinton High School in Bronx, NY for over 20 years before retiring 22 years ago.
Mrs Breinan had been a volunteer at the Hackettstown Hospital for many years, and a member of the Hadassah, B'nai Brith, and the Mizrachi Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander and her son, Edward.
Survivors include a daughter, Harriet A. Grenker and her husband William of Parsippany; four grandchildren, Adam and David Grenker and Howard and Deborah Breinan; and three great-grandchildren, Alex, Zoe, and Ian.
A period of mourning will be observed Thursday and Saturday from 6:30pm until 9:30pm at the Grenker Residence, 4 Cory Court, Parsippany.
