Obituary of LOUIS J. PIRRO

Mr. Louis J. Pirro died Thursday morning, October 16, 2008 at Morris View Nursing Home. He was 79.
Born in Union City, he had lived in Hoboken before moving to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 40 years ago.
Mr. Pirro had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He had been the proprietor of Lou's Food Center in Hoboken for many years. He later worked as a custodian with the Parsippany Board of Education retiring in 1991.
Mr. Pirro was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church and the Lake Hiawatha Seniors, both of Parsippany.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ella, and twobrothers, Joseph and Junior.
Survivors include his siblings, Nick Pirro, Baby Kaufman, and Frances Palumbo, and many nieces and nephews.
