When we lose a loved one, we cry, we beg, we plead….we yearn for more time with them…one more day…one more hour…one more second……..one more memory. In doing so, we realize that in our memories and in our hearts is exactly where you live on, through the generations, forever. And as we await your greeting at the pearly gates, we also remember that we need to enjoy our life and bring joy to others, as you have done so well. For what is truly important is the quality of life, not the quantity. This past year has felt like an eternity, but at the same time it feels like just yesterday we were laughing and making money together at the blackjack table at Caesar's in A.C. I know you will always keep an eye on us and making sure that we are ok, as I will always keep eye to the sky and try to make you proud of me, even though I know you already are. Rest in peace Dad and everyone else who has temporarily left us, for one day we will all be united again. We miss you so much and you are forever in our hearts.

We miss seeing Nick working in the yard when we took our neighborhood walks. I'm sure everybody in the neighborhood misses him because he was such a good neighbor. We will keep Nick in our thoughts and in our prays.

Nick will be truly missed. I lived across the street from his family the past 17 years or so. He was such a generous man who always took his time to answer my questions about construction or to help me fix my car. He had such a great sense of humor too. I was shocked when I heard the news and this is truly sad. Nick is in a better place now and his family is in my prayers.
