William K. Tobia died Thursday morning, April 23, 2009 at his home in Montville. He was 92.
Born and raised in Newark, he had moved to Montville Township in 1981.
Mr. Tobia had worked as a tool and dye maker with Victory Optical Manufacturing Co. of Belleville before retiring in 1965.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rose (nee Santiago) in 1990.
Survivors include his son, Frank W. Tobia of Montville; his daughter Rose Marie Aquilio and her husband Dr. Ernest of Montville; six grandchildren, Ernest, Adrienne LiCausi, Stephanie Pacelli, William, Rose Marie Perretti, and Geraldine Tobia; and ten great-grandchildren.
