Obituary of DONALD P. RESAVY

Donald Paul Resavy died Thursday morning, May 7, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 86.
Born in Duryea, PA., he had lived in Newark and East Orange before moving to Parsippany 22 years ago.
Mr. Resavy served in the United States Army during World War II.
He had worked as a ramp serviceman with United Airlines at Newark Airport, for 37 years before his retirement in 1987.
Mr. Resavy was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C Churech in Parsippany and hte American Legion, Post 249 of Lake Hiawatha.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph, and all five of his siblings.
Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Antoinette M. (nee Wysocki); two daughters, Donne Lee Kolba an her husband Arno of Pittsburgh, CA., and Judy Kappmeier and her husband Garry of Lake Hiawatha; a son, Richard Resavy and his wife Eileen of Vallejo., CA.; five grandchildren, Kyle, Scott, Erica, Sean. and Phyllis and three great-grandchildren, Kayla Ryan, and Emma.
