Mr. Orlando Martinez died suddenly Friday, July 10, 2009 while vacationing in Miami, Florida. He was 72.
Born in Havana, Cuba, he came to the United States in 1968 settling in Union City. He moved to Jersey City 10 years ago.
Mr. Martinez was a self-employed insurance broker in the greater Jersey City Area for the last 30 years, retiring 3 years ago.
He is survived by his two sons, Orlando M. Martinez and his wife Mary of Arkansas, and Juan J. Martinez of Edgewater; a brother, Eduardo of Parsippany; a sister, Gladys D'Amico of Lyndhurst; and a grandson, Mario.
