Cindy and family: We are so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. So many fond memories come to mind when we think of all of you. She was a really nice lady and although she is gone, you were lucky to have her with you this long. (I'm sure it doesn't feel long enough to you right now.) Hello,
My name is Andy Thrush and I had the privilege of knowing Harriet for the time I spend working at the Via Linda Senior Center in Arizona a couple of years back. Harriet was one of my favorites at the center. She was mischievous, had a great sense of humor, and was always very kind to those around her. She also had amazing eyes, a great laugh and a sense of fairness.
One of the highlights of my day was when she would arrive at the center and slowly make her way into the building. I was inspired by her tenacity to show up on time for her poker days, in spite her limited mobility. She did puzzles, dabbled on the computer (more poker), and liked talking with her friends, which I was one.
I have thought about Harriet often, along with a couple of other friends I made while there at the Center, they were an inspiration to me because they chose to stay active when, I'm sure, it would have been easier to stay home.
Harriet was a "hoot" and I have missed her. I will always remember her though, with fondness and a smile on my face, because of the great memories I have of her.

Harriet will be missed, her great smile and witt and jokes were allways fun to listen to. I was the facilties mantience man at the senior center where Harriet used to come and play cards all the time and we talked everyday, I'm gonna miss her stepping off the dial a ride bus coming just about everyday.

Dear Habinowski Family,
My family and I are so sorry to read of your loss.
I met Ms. Harriet when I was in 5th grade (PS34). For years she was our family friend, our Avon lady. Even though she had moved I never forgot her, or her kind words of encourage and praise. She watched me grow up - I will miss her!
May Ms. Harriet's memory, her good deeds, and loving sprint live on within us all.
