Marcus Iain MacDougall, 56, formerly of Parsippany, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, NY.
Born July 17, 1953 in Morristown to John MacDougall and the late Margaret Mays (nee Gentry), he lived in Grosse Ile, Michgan and Parsippany, New Jersey. He was a resident of Brooklyn Heights, New York for the last 30 years.
Mr. MacDougall graduated from Parsippany Hills High School in the first graduating class. He earned his BS in economics Cum Laude in 1975 and his MBA in 1979, both from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
A certified public accountant, he had worked in that capacity with Price Waterhouse. Later he worked as a vice president with General Atlantic Corp.
Mr. MacDougall was a member of the University Club in New York, NY.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Mary Ellen Cositore; his father, John MacDougall of Denville; two brothers, John G. MacDougall of Mountain Lakes and David A. MacDougall of Geneva; two step-sisters, Katherine Fuellhart of Allentown, PA., and Rebecca McKeever of Rockaway; a step-brother, William Fuellhart of Whippany; many nieces and nephews; and many relatives in the HIghlands of Scotland.
