My condolences to Viola and all brother Larry's children.
I spoke with him during the summer, where he sounded so well, that it's with great sadness that he has now gone.
One fond memory that I have of him is when he used to take me home from school. He would carry me on his shoulders and if he met up with his friends would put me down to play marbles and once finished, would take me home, carrying me on his shoulders once again.

To Viola & Jermaine
Words can't express my sincere sympathy as well as condolences to the both of you as well as the rest of the family. It just wouldn't be right if I didn't say how lucky I feel to have known your husband and father, and to have spent so many occasions with all of you. Larry really took me in and has made me feel like part of the family as an unofficial " daughter in law". He was truly a wonderful person to have gotten to know over the years and will be missed. I know you feel as if part of you is gone, but take comfort in knowing that he has no more pain to deal with, no more sickness or any of the obstacles that tried to hinder his life here.
