Obituary of EDWARD C. BETZLER

Edward C. Betzler died Monday morning, March 15, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 72. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, he had been a resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville Township for the last 45 years. Mr. Betzler served in the United States Navy during peacetime. He earned his Bachelors degree in accounting from the City College of New York in 1958. Mr. Betzler had worked as an accountant with the J.H. Cohn Co. of Livingston for the last 12 years before retiring last year. Previously, he worked in the same capacity with Lasky Printing Co in Millburn, and Hoffman LaRoche Pharmaceuticals in Nutley. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Genevieve C. (nee Bandl); his mother, Madeline Betzler of Montville; two sons, Michael Betzler of Montville and Robert Betzler and his wife Colleen of Hardyston; a brother, Kenneth R. Betzler of Tavares, FL; and his newborn granddaughter, Bevin Madeline Betzler.
