Obituary of CAROL B. CHERRY

Ms. Carol Beatrice Cherry (nee Michaels) died Sunday morning, April 4, 2010 at Care One At Morris, in Morristown following a long illness. She was 93. Born and rasied in West Orange, she had lived in California before returning to West Orange in 1951. She moved to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1998. Ms. Cherry had worked as an assistant banquet manager at The Manor in West Orange for many ears, retiring in 1980. She later worked as a typist with Worrall Publications in South Orange. An avid Yankees fan, she was a former member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in West Orange, and a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany and it's Adoration Ministry. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann Manzella and her husband Charles of Pine Brook; her son, Edward Cherry and his wife Maryanne of Hilton Head, SC.; and two granddaughters, Christine and Cara Manzella.
