Obituary of LORETTA J. PICCONI

Loretta Jane Picconi (nee Tempesto) died suddenly, Wednesday morning, August 25, 2010 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. She was 80. Born in Ringwood, she had lived in Boonton before coming to Lake Hiawatha 55 years ago. Mrs. Picconi was a homemaker and a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany. She was preceded in death by her son, Leo Picconi; and her daughter, Diane Picconi. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Samuel A. Picconi, Sr.; four children, Samuel A. Picconi, Jr. and his wife Susan of Whiting, Robert Picconi and his wife Elizabeth of Florida, Joann Borgers and her husband Mark of Boonton, and Cathy Fleitstra and her fiancee Curtis of Parsippany; a sister Catherine Bryda of Dover; nine grrandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
