Obituary of FRANCES V. IRACANE

Frances Veronica Iracane (nee DiFranco) died Monday evening, November 8, 2010 on her 88th birthday, at The Kindred Hospital of Morris County in Dover. Born in Newark, she was raised in Irvington and had lived in Belleville since 1953. Mrs. Iracane had worked as a bookkeper with Bloomfield Savings bank, later Provident Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1989. She was active with various senior groups including Holy Family Sassy Seniors, the Belleville Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Senior Groups, and the Nutley Senior Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Angelo J. Iracane in 2007 and a sister, Rose Croll. Survivors include her son, Robert J. Iracane and his wife Elinor of Parsippany, a sister, Thomasina Schmidt of Hackettstown; two grandchildren, Michelle L. St. Pierre and her husband Carl of Yardley, PA; and Rob Iracane of Riverdale and his fiancee Sally Strickland; and two great-grandchildren, Christina Amelie and Chase Angelo St. Pierre.
