Obituary of MARY A. PIASCIK

Mary A. Piascik died Monday afternoon at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. She was 92. Born in Clinton, MA., she was a longtime resident of Gardner, MA., before coming to Montville, NJ in 2002. She had recently moved to Care One in Parsippany. Mrs. Piascik had worked as an inspector with Gem Industries of Gardner, MA. before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gordon Piascik in 2000 as well as three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two sons, Thomas G. Piascik and his wife Barbara, and John Piascik and his wife Inci; five grandchildren, Kenneth Piascik and wife Anne, Steven Piascik and wife Randi, Lisa Piascik, Christine Jordan and husband Todd, and Sheri Kamin and husband Justin; and seven great-grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Madison, and Matthew Piascik, Nathan and Maxom Jordan, and Ashley Kamin. Public visitation will be Monday, Nov. 22, 9:30am to 10:30am at Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
