Obituary of CORA E. MONTALBANO

Cora Ellen Montalbano (nee Terry) died Monday morning, December 20, 2010 surrounded by her family at the Newton Memorial Hospital. She was 85. Born in Wartburg, Tn., she had lived in Newark, Boonton, Ogdensburg, and Hamburg before coming to Franklin in 1992. Mrs. Montalbano had worked as a cashier, most recently at Walmart in Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband Pellegrino "Benny" Montalbano in 1976. Survivors include her children, Patricia Nelson of Rockaway, Richard Montalbano of Maine, Dennis Montalbano (Sue) of Ogdensburg, Gary Montalbano (Diane) of Hardyston, and Susie Yennie of Edison; three sisters, Grace, Evelyn, and Juanita; a brother, Gene; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
