Obituary of KENNETH J. HUME JR.

Kenneth John Hume Jr. died Thursday morning, January 20, 2011 at his home in Parsippany. He was 72. Born in New York, NY, he was raised in Chatham and lived in Madison before coming to Parsippany in 1987. Mr. Hume served in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He had worked as a caddy with the Essex County Golf Club in Roseland for most of his life before retiring in 2007. Survivors include his wife Mary (nee Bustos) Hume; his daughter, Jill Hume; his step-children, Carmita Guerra-Kourt, Oswaldo Guerra, Isabel Gomez, and Alfonso Pinto; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
