Obituary of LEONARD F. TOMASELLI

Leonard Frank Tomaselli died peacefully Thursday afternoon at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 93. A native and longtime resident of Orange, he had also lived in West Caldwell before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 2003. Mr. Tomaselli had owned Danny's Tavern in Orange (originally founded by his father Daniel) for many years. After selling the tavern in 1981, he had worked in security with Prudential Insurance, retiring in 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (nee DiCataldo) in 2003. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Dorene Gannon (Fred) of Lake Hiawatha and Tina Matturri (William) of East Hanover; three grandchildren, Theresa Ann, Lisa, and William; and three great-grandchildren, Jake, Anthony, and Daniel.
