Obituary of ALAN LESLIE JACOBS

Alan L. Jacobs died Saturday morning, April 23, 2011 at his home in Fort Lee, NJ. He was 70. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had been a resident of Oceanside, NY, coming to Fort Lee in 2003. Mr. Jacobs earned his Bachelors Degree from the City College of New York in 1962. He later served in the United States Army Reserves as a medic from 1963-1968. An accountant, he was a principle in the firm of Alan and Craig Jacobs, LLC in Rockville Center, NY. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Wexler); three children, Michele Goncher (and her husband Fred of Garnerville, NY, Lance Jacobs and his wife Laurie of Potomac, MD., abd Craig Jacobs of Rockville Center, NY; a sister, Holly Strauss of Delray Beach, FL.; and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Cory, Zachary, & Allison. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, April 26, 11:00am at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY.
