Richard Pohlman, 54 of Lake Hiawatha, passed away Saturday morning, July 16, 2011 at his home following a brave battle with cancer.
Richard was a long term employee of Metroploitan Life Insurance Company finishing his career as a Data Base Administrator (DBA). He was an avid golfer and a 20 year plus member at the Knoll Country Club.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Pohlman. He is survived by his father, Clair (Dick) Pohlman; his sister, Claire Pirtle and her spouse Skid; his brothers, Edward Pohlman and his spouse Lily, Kevin Pohlman and his spouse Jenny, and Robert Pohlman and his spouse Gina. He will be missed by his very much loved nieces and nephews, Robert Pohlman and his spouse Lauren, Ryan Miller and her spouse Jonathan, Kevin Pohlman and his fiancee, Jessica Langan, Christopher Pohlman, and Catherine Pohlman.
