Frank Manfredi died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 26, 2011 at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Boonton Township. He was 83.
Born and raised in Union City, he was a longtime resident of West New York before coming to Stanhope 7 years ago.
Mr. Manfredi served in the United States Army during peacetime.
He had been employed as a sheet metal worker with BP Kitchen, later Braun in Saddle Brook for many years before retiring.
Mr. Manfredi was a longtime member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in West New York and the church's Holy Name Society.
Preceded in death by his wife Katherine A. (nee Lezak) in 2005 he is survived by his four children, Debra DeFazio of North Bergen, Donna Daveniero of Mahwah, Frank Manfredi of Stanhope, and Vincent Manfredi of Meacopa, Arizona; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
