Obituary of THOMAS J. REDDEN

Thomas J. Redden died suddenly, Wednesday morning, July 27, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 82.
Born and raised in Newark, he had been a resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville since 1976.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard during peacetime.
Mr. Redden was employed as a police officer with the City of Newark. He later went to work for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office for 27 years, retiring in 1991 as Deputy Chief of Investigations.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carmella (nee Infantino) Redden last November, and a brother John J. Redden.
Survivors include his son, Robert J. Redden and his wife Kim of West Keansburg:; a daughter, Patricia LeDonne and her husband Sal of Parsippany; a brother Joseph M,. Redden of North Caolina; and six grandchildren, Kerri and Nicole Redden, and Liza, Alanna, Salena, and Nicholas LeDonne.
