Obituary of JOSEPH GOLDENRING

Joseph Goldenring died Monday morning, September 19, 2011 at Morristown Medical Center. he was 84. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, he had lived in Old Bridge before moving to South Orange in 1969. Mr. Goldenring earned his Bachelors Degree from New York University. He had worked as a vice president of the Biltmore Textile Company in New York, NY for over 30 years before retiring in 1992. He enjoyed acting as a passtime. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lorraine (nee Postoff) Goldenring; two children, Susan L. Goldenring of South Orange, and Stephen C. Goldenring of Florham Park; a sister, Ida Goldberg of New Rochelle, NY; and two grandsons, Jacob and Samuel Goldenring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011, 5pm at Joseph's late residence in South Orange. A period of mourning will also be held at the family residence in South Orange Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8pm.
