Leslie V. Lynde (nee Gates)died suddenly Thursday evening, October 6, 2011 following an accident in Parsippany. She was 38.
Born in Englewood, she had lived in Teaneck before coming to Parsippany 34 years ago.
Mrs. Lynde earned her BA in social work from the University of Bridgeport in 1996.
She worked as a teacher with various nursey schools in Parsippany and Morristown before recently joining the staff at Magic Garden Nursey School in Wharton.
Mrs. Lynde was an avid reader and a writer of poetry.
Preceded in death by her father, Edward V. Gates, survivors include her husband, Jonathan T. Lynde; her mother, Judith M. Gates (nee James) of Parsippany; a brother, Michael E.J. Gates and his wife Laurie of Brooklyn, NY; and her in-laws Richard A. and Karin L. Lynde of Basking Ridge.
