Obituary of MALATI M. PENDSE

Malati M. Pendse passed away Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2001 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She was 74. Born in Mumbai, India, she was a life long resident there before coming to the United States three years ago and settling in Parsippany. Mrs. Pendse worked as a school teacher at the Marathi Vidyalaya School in Mumbai for many years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband Madhav Pendse in 1998. Survivors include her children, Rajiv M. Pendse of Parsippany, NJ, Rekha S. Patankar of Thane, India, and Rajesh M. Pendse of Wilmington, DE.; a sister, Shubhada B. Kane of Mumbai, India; and six grandchildren.
