Obituary of ROY RON A. MONTAGUE

Roy A. Montague, Known as Ron, died peacefully Monday evening, October 24, 2011 at the Troy Hills Nursing Home in Parsippany. He was 76.
Born and raised in London, England, he came to the United States in 1965, settling in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He had also lived in Sparta and Lake Shawnee before recently returning to Lake Hiawatha.
Mr. Montague was a brilliant stone mason and worked in that capacity in the Parsippany area since 1965 before retiring in 2006.
Roy had a passion for life and an amazing spirit. His love of singing and telling a story through song was a pure gift. He was known by many as "The Singer." He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife Helene L. (nee Fiorentine); four children, Kelly Brown, Sharon Riley, Sarah McFeely, and Adam Montague; his step children Tara Higgins, Jason Higgins, Matthew Di Marco, Paul DiMarco, Bethany DiMarco, Chris DiMarco, and Faith Ullman; his siblings Brenda Roberts and June Coote, and Terry Montague; and nineteen grandchildren.
At Roy's request all services will be private.
