Obituary of MICHAEL S. REFFIE

Michael Salvatore Reffie passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, October 29, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was 88. Born and raised in Orange, he had lived in the Pine Brook section of Montville since 1956. Mr. Reffie had worked as an expeditor with Walter Kidde Company for 8 years, as a plater for Electra Tec for 9 years and lastly as a groundskeeper with the East Hanover Township School System for 17 years. He was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by his wife Joan (nee Young) Reffie in 1995, he is survived by his loving children, Patricia Caamano of Nazareth, PA., Michael Reffie Jr. of Shenandoah, PA., Peter Reffie and his wife Amy of Palm City, FL., and Jenny Lynn Kasmin and her husband Christopher of Livingston; a brother Rocco Refie of Florida; eleven grandchildren, Lawrence Caamano and his wife Shawn of Stroudsburg, PA., Thomas Caamano and his wife Kristy of Bethlehem, PA., James Caamano of Stroudsburg, PA., Michael Reffie III and his wife Amanda o f Kutztown, PA., Matthew Reffie and his wife Audrey of Boston, MA, Benjamin Reffie of Kutztown, PA., Alexandra, Casey and Kennedy Reffie of Palm City, FL., and Joanna and Edward Kasmin of Livingston; and six great-grandchildren, Brielle, Taylor, and Adrianna Caamano, Michael IV and Vincent Reffie and Isabella Caamano. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Mary Whipple of Lake Hiawatha.
