Benjamin "Benny" Pietropaolo died suddenly, Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 72.
Born in Hoboken, he had lived in Union City before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany over 40 years ago.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Pietropaolo worked as an electrician with NJ Transit for 30 years, before retiring 10 years ago.
He was active in politics and the Republican Party in Parsippany.
Preceded in death by four brothers, survivors include his wife Inge E. (nee Herde) and his siblings Rachel, Marie, John, and Carmen.
