Obituary of ROSE HOLLAND

Rose Holland (nee Perelli) died Friday evening, January 13, 2012 at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains. She was 90. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Holland was a longtime resident of Lincoln Park before moving to Pequannock in 2003. A homemaker, Mrs. Holland was a member of the Jacksonville Chapel and the Lincoln Park Seniors. She was preceded in death by her husband Liston Holland and her siblings, John Perelli, Nancy DeMarco, and Marie Rescigno. Survivors include her children, Diane Blackman and Leonard DeMarco and his wife Colleen all of Pompton Plains; a sister, Florence Smith; six grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, and Samantha DeMarco, Linda Gomes, Lisa Blackman, and Anthony Melchiorre; and four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Michael, Stella Rose, and Michael.
