Marie Joan D'Alessio (nee Martone) died Tuesday morning, March 6, 2012 at Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains. She was 94.
Born in Harrison, Mrs. D'Alession was a resident of Fairfield and Montville before moving to Pomton Plains ten years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luigi D'Alessio, and a grandson, Scott Vincent DeTorre. Survivors include her two daughters, Joan D'Alessio of Montville and Patricia Halpern of Hillsborough; a brother, Sal Martone; a sister, Isabel Bellocchio; three grandchildren, Christina Brown (David), Jennifer Halpern-Bull (Lon), and Matthew Halpern; and three great-grandchildren who were the loves of her life, Cinthia Marie Brown, Camellia Michelle Brown, and James Owen Bull.
