Obituary of ANTHONY M. BATTISTUTA

Anthony M. Battistuta passed away monday evening, April 9, 2012 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 88.
Born in Austria, Mr. Battistuta came to the United States as a child and had settled in Cliffside Park. He moved to Lake Hiawatha in 1966.
He had worked as a baker with the Wonder Bread Company in Paterson for over 50 years before retiring 23 years ago.
Mr. Battistuta was a billiards enthusiast and participated in the billiards program at the Parsippany Senior Center on a daily basis.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, and a sister Jean.
Survivors include his children, Elaine M. Chasmar of Hackettstown, and David Battistuta of Pittsburgh, PA.; his sister, Mary Louglas; a brother, Alfred Battistuta; and three grandchildren.
