Obituary of JOSEPHINE SERVELLO

Joesphine Servello (nee Sylan) died Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. She was 99. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Servello had lived in Jersey City before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1950. She had worked as a machine operator with Western Electric many years ago. She later was a homemaker and was a much loved "nanny" for many families in the Lake Hiawatha area. Mrs. Servello was a longtime member of the Community Life Chapel in Parsippany. She was preceded in death by her husband James Servello in 2010. Survivors include a step brother, Edward Sylan; a nephew, Robert Farersich and his wife Barbara; and a niece Marilyn Balzer and her husband Edmund.
