Obituary of THEODORE TRETIN

Theodore "Ted" Tretin, 75, died peacefully Friday morning, August 17, 2012 at Franciscan oaks Health Center in Denville following an extended illness. Born and rasied on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Ted had lived in Queens, NY before moving to Montville, NJ 19 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during peacetime. Mr. Tretin had owned and operated a yellow taxi cab in New York for many years. Later, he worked as a private chauffeur for various companies, most recently, Data Logics in Totowa. He was preeded in death byhis seven elder brothers. Survivors include his loving wife, Evelyn (nee Benedetto) Tretin; two children, John Impenna of West Milford and Linda Parrinello and her husband Salvatore of Denville; a grandson, Salvatore John Parrinello; and his "faithful companion" Bentley.
