Obituary of JOHN ROBERT STEINHEIMER

John Robert Steinheimer died suddenly, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 75.
Born in Jresey City, he was raised in West New York and lived in Little Ferry and Blairstown before coming to Lake Hiawatha 23 years ago.
He served in the 11th Airborne with the United States Army from 1954 to 1957. He was stationed in Germany.
Mr. Steinheimer had worked as a window washer with Delta Building Services of Rutherford for the last 50 years.
An avid pool player, he was a daily participant in the billards program at the Parsippany Seniors.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Merril, Joseph and Alfred.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lorraine M. (nee Williams); his three children, Janel Prospero of North Arlington, Diane Brando and her husband Nicola of Montville, and John P. Steinheimer of Jersey City; and six grandchildren, Anthony Prospero, Nicolette and Noelle Brando, and Johnalyn, Alyvia and Cole Steinheimer.
