Obituary of LINDA JOY JACOBS

Linda Joy Jacobs (nee Wexler) passed away Friday afternoon, July 31, 2020 at her home in Fort Lee, NJ following an extended illness. She was 80. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she had lived in Staten Island and Oceanside, NY, before coming to Fort Lee, NJ in 2003. A homemaker, Mrs. Jacobs was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan Leslie Jacobs on April 23, 2011. Survivors include her three loving children, Michele Goncher and her husband, Fred of Garnersville, NY; Lance Jacobs and his wife, Laurie of Potomac, MD, and Craig Jacobs of Rockville Center, NY; a sister, Randee Levy of Manhattan, NY; two brothers, Larry Wexler of Heightstown, NJ, and Jay Wexler of Melville, NY; and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Corey, Zachary, and Allison. Private graveside services will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY.
