Jean C. Pica (nee Moran) passed away Wednesday August 5, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville following an extended illness. She was 76.
Born in Newark, she was a longtime Belleville resident, before coming to Montville Township in 2005.
A hair stylist by trade, Jean was the former owner of Shear Destiny Salon in Parsippany. She had also worked with Miracles Salon in Lake Hiawatha for several years, retiring in 2005.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael J. Moran and Stella (nee D'Alessio) Moran; and her brothers, Russell Moran and Steven Moran.
Jean is survived by her two children, Sam Pica and his wife, Anna of Brick, NJ and Sherese Joseph and her husband, Tim of Montville; two grandchildren, Samantha LaMorte and Sabrina LaMorte of Montville; brother, Michael Moran and his wife, Kathy of Bloomfield; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Moran of Little Falls; her former husband and friend, Samuel Pica of Bloomfield, many nieces and nephews, and two step-grandchildren. .
At the family's request, arrangements will be private.
