Obituary of JOSEPHINE S. WANG

Josephine S. Wang (nee Sun) passed away Thursday evening, September 24, 2020 at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. She was 86. Born in Tai Yuan, China, she immigrated to the United States in 1958, settling in Minneapolis, Minnesota to begin her studies. She later lived in Illinois, Kansas, and Tennessee, before coming to Parsippany, NJ in 1999. Mrs. Wang earned her Bachelors Degree in English Language from the University of Taiwan in 1955. She earned her Masters Degree in Library Sciences from the University of Minnesota in 1961. She worked as a librarian with the Kingsport, Tennessee Public Library for 20 years, retiring in 1997. Mrs. Wang was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany and the Parsippany Seniors. She is survived by her husband pf 58 years, Richard H. Wang; three children, Joseph Wang and his wife Yining Lu of Lake Hiawatha, Christine Wang of Parsippany, and Dorothy Wang of San Francisco, CA; a brother, Timothy Sun of Los Angeles, Ca; and three grandsons, Kenneth, Richard, and Joshua Wang.
