Obituary of DEVESH S. SHARMA

Devesh S. Sharma passed away Monday evening, October 5, 2020 at Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. He was 69. Born in Muzaffarnagar, India, Mr. Sharma immigrated to the United States in 1979 settling in Elmwood Park. He has been a resident of the Towaco section of Montville Township ten years ago. Mr. Sharma earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham Park/ Madison Campus. He was employed as an engineer with the Maquet Company of Mahwah, NJ, formerly known as Data Scope, for many years before his retirement 3 years ago. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deepa Sharma; and his siblings, Sarojini Sharma and Subhashini Mishra; Devesh is survived by his two loving children, Shelly Sharma and Saagar Sharma, both of Towaco; and his siblings, Jyoti Swarup Sharma, Man Mohan Swarup, Sudha Dixit, and Archana Dixit. i
