Obituary of CONCETTA L. PALUMBO

Concetta L. Palumbo (nee Cicenia), a loving mother, grandmother and family matriarch, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 21, 2020 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany surrounded by her family. She was 83.
Born in Orange, NJ, Ms. Palumbo was a longtime resident of West Orange, NJ before coming to the Parsippany area 15 years ago. She had lived in Baldwin Oaks before recently moving to be with her family in Lake Hiawatha.
Ms. Palumbo had been an administrative assistant and bookkeeper with Konner Chevrolet in Caldwell for 15 years before her retirement in 2016. She was also a doting mother and homemaker for many years.
She was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Church and the Baldwin Oaks Social Club where she had served as president.
Ms. Palumbo was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Rachel (nee DeSavino) Cicenia, and her siblings, Josephine Chichelo, Rose Pecoriello, Gaetano Cicenia, Joseph Cicenia, Angelo Cicenia, and Nicholas Cicenia.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Donna Corvino and her husband Nicholas Jr. of Lake Hiawatha, and Lisa Palumbo of Palm Beach, Fl.; a dear brother, Vincent Cicenia of West Orange; her three beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Corvino III, Cheryl Tillery, and Jennifer Corvino; her great-granddaughter, Miami Tillery; and a host of nieces and nephews.
