Alan Eliot Silverman passed away Friday morning, October 23, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center following a hard fought battle with COVID-19. He was 66.
Born in New Hyde Park, NY, Alan was a longtime resident of Manhattan, NY before moving to Morristown, NJ last year.
A proud small business owner, passionate about exquisite ribbons and trims, Mr. Silverman had been the proprietor of Ribbtrim for the last 25 years. Remembered as a great boss, he considered his employees family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Janine Silverman(nee Falgares); three children; Jason, Greg and Alana, a step-daughter, Julia, a granddaughter, Sage, as well as his sister, Gerri.
He is preceded in death by his father, Morris Silverman, and his brother Glen Silverman.
Graveside services are to be held at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, located at 2600 US-22 Ste E, Union, NJ on Monday October 26th at 11:30am.
