Obituary of ROSE MARIE C. LANESE

Rose Marie C. Lanese (nee Zerillo) passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 14, 2020 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. She was 80 . Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Lanese had been a resident of Lake Hiawatha since 1965. Rose Marie was a "Jack of all Trades." She had worked as a waitress with various area restaurants including: Neil's New Yorker in Mountain Lakes, Llewelyn Farms in Morris Plains, The Black Bull in Mountain Lakes, and The Lunch Box at the Lake Hiawatha Swim Club. She had also worked as a manager at Zeris Inn in Mountan Lakes. She subsequently wiorked as a computer analyst with Dunn and Bradstreet in Parsippany before her retirement. Mrs. Lanese was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman catholic Church in Parsippany and had been a volunteer tax preparer for AARP. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Nicholas L. Lanese; three beloved children: a son, Nicholas S. Lanese and his wife Geralyn of Verona, NJ; and two daughters, Michelle J. Rex of Moneta, VA, and Lynda A. James and her husband Rick of Grafton, OH. She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Jillian Lanese, Nicholas A. Lanese, Timothy Rex and Michael Rex.
