Obituary of CHARLES EDWARD REX

Charles Edward Rex, 82, passed away Sunday evening, November 15, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, Mr. Rex came to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany 43 years ago. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1959-1962. Mr. Rex had been a project manager with the Givaudan Co of East Hanover for 30 years. He subsequently worked as a rental agent with Powder Mill Heights Apartments in Parsippany for 20 years, retiring two years ago. A member of St. Ann R.C. Church, he was also a member of the Lake Hiawatha Country Club, where he had served as treasurer for 40 years. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Cecelia Rex (nee McTeigue); his four loving children, Charles E. Rex (Jean) of Rockaway, Kathleen Riedinger (Paul) of Parsippany, Patrick Rex (Shannon) of lake Hiawatha, and Brian T. Rex (Angie) of Green Brook; and seven cherished grandchildren, Caitlin, Charles, Nicholas, Christian, Joseph, James, and Kyle.
