Devji Vala Chothani passed away suddenly Monday evening, November 16, 2020 at his home in Parsippany, He was 81.
Born in Majevadi, Gujarat, India, he immigrated to the United States in 200, settling in Parsippany.
Mr. Chothani had been a self-employed businessman while living in India.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Savitaben (Dholaria) Chothani; four children, Kishor Chothani of St. Louis, MI, Pravina Sojitra of Fords, NJ, Kirit V. Chothani of Parsippany, and Nilesh D. Chothani of Parsippany, NJ; two brothers, Maganlal Chothani and Natavarlal Chothani both of India; two sisters, Jasodaben Mavani and Nanduben Domadia both of India; and nine grandchildren, Ankit, Bhavik, Aditi, Hirsh, Mauli, Mira, Akshay, Ruchi, and Ravi. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vallabbhai Chotthani and Narsibhai Chotthani; and four sisters, Radiyatben Vaishanav, Januben Antala, Shantaben Rakholia, and Labhuben Babariya.
