Marianna Angione (nee DePinto) passed away Saturday evening, December 5, 2020 at Care One Harmony Village at Paramus, NJ following an extended illness. She was 85. Born in Molfetta, Italy, she immigrated to the United States settling in Hoboken, NJ. She had also lived in Union City, NJ, Wallington, NJ, and Wayne, NJ before coming to Paramus, NJ two years ago. Mrs. Angione had worked as a self-employed seamstress for many years preceding her retirement. Marianna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Nick Angione on April 11 of this year. She is survived by her three loving children, Sergio Angione and his wife, Rita of Towaco, NJ, Toni Ziangos and her husband, Chris of Holtsville, NY, and Nick Angione and his fiancée, Cindy Salvio of Wallington, NJ; a brother, Bartolomeo DePinto and his wife of Felicia of Caldwell, NJ; a sister, Damiana DePalma and her husband Michael of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; and eight grandchildren, Alicia Angione, Nicholas Angione, Patrick Dorman, Steven Dorman, Adrian Ziangos, Alex Angione, Jacqueline Angione, and Nico Angione. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful or memorial gifts in Marianna's honor to either the Alzheimer's Association (www.alzheimers.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
